Hearthside Rustlin' Up Ransom
"Ransom" was my first quality bred aussie. Having only NSD aussies since 1976, I had never paid more than $100 - $150 for a puppy. Getting the money together for her purchase and airfare is how I chose her name.
Though not purchased as a show prospect "Ransom" earned numerous Reserves and some points. Her charming attitude and effortless movement made her competitive in the breed ring.
"Ransom" lovingly whelped beautiful puppies and became the foundation lady of Sierra-Echo. Her offspring are winners in both the conformation and herding arenas. These pups are also producing nicely and have become integral parts of other kennels' breeding programs. Her offspring have achieved Hall of Fame honor.
